Box Hill Institute (BHI) Scholarships

The Rotary Club of MASH has provided “Inducement to Succeed” scholarships designed to support BHI students who are working diligently on their studies but struggling financially.

In the 2017-18 year we provided 5 scholarships valued at $1,000 each.   These were provided from club funds supplemented by a Dick Smith Grant and a Rotary District Grant.

In the 2018-19 year we provided a further 5 scholarships at $1,000 supported by a generous grant of $3,000 from the Bendigo Community Bank in Surrey Hills.

In 2019-20 we funded 5 scholarships thanks to a matching District Scholarship Grant of $2,500.

In 2020-21 with the assistance of a District Grant of $2500 we were able to support 5 grants totalling $4500.

In 2021-22 just one scholarship awarded due to disruptions caused by Covid.

In 2022-23 Two scholarships were awarded.

In 2023-24 Two scholarships were awarded.
